Questions

Common questions

Can TraceVeil find assets held in an LLC?

It finds the LLCs a person is publicly associated with and the property records tied to those entities' and people's addresses. It doesn't access bank or financial accounts.

Is the output admissible?

TraceVeil captures a snapshot of each source record with the time it was retrieved and includes it in the report and PDF. Whether it's admissible is a question for your jurisdiction and your use; many teams use it to know where to send subpoenas and service.

Does it help with service of process?

Yes. Movement Intelligence shows a person's addresses in order with dates, how long they stayed and whether they recently relocated, which helps pick the right address to serve.

Can I use it for FCRA-covered purposes?

No. TraceVeil is not a consumer reporting agency. Judgment enforcement and litigation research are common uses; credit, employment, insurance and tenant decisions are not permitted.
