Questions

Common questions

How do I find out who owns an LLC?

Start with the LLC's filing in the state where it's registered: it lists organizers, managers or members (depending on the state) and a registered agent. TraceVeil does this lookup for you, then identifies and enriches the people connected to the filing and its addresses.

What if the LLC only lists a registered agent?

TraceVeil also looks at the entity's principal and mailing addresses to find people connected to them, and shows the signals behind each connection so you can judge how strong it is.

Which states are supported?

20 states connect directly to the state registry, and 6 more (NV, OH, PA, MI, WA, WI) are covered through a licensed registry-data provider. The search form lists every supported state.

What does a lookup cost?

Credit packs start at $10 with no subscription. The credit cost is shown before you run a search, and failed lookups are refunded automatically.

Can I use it for tenant or employment screening?

No. TraceVeil is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used for any FCRA-covered purpose.
